Simplicity Meets Power

Our philosophy is to embrace the fact that we don't know everything you need in a framework. Starting with Yverdon, our PHP 5 flavor, we are setting new bars for extensibility and simplicity. Let us know what you think!

  • Yverdon v0.2.1

We are releasing Yverdon v0.2.1 today to resolve a bug found within both the MySQL and MySQLi database extensions.  Both of these extensions were being 'overzealous' with their sanitization routines, which was causing some difficulty when attempting to use HTML and other special characters in parameterized queries.

Additionally, a consistentcy issue was resolved with the encStr() function based off of an unnecessarily random value for the $cfg['crypt_hash'] variable.  This is now a constant value as a temporary fix before v0.3 introduces the ability to supply hashes to the routine.

As always, any issues found with the release should be reported to the forum or on IRC so we know to resolve them.

  • Forums Updated/Fixed

I was just today made aware that the forums haven't really been working for what seems likely to be the entire time they've existed.  I did some upgrades and found some errors that I'd made while configuring them and everything seems sorted.  I had the forums 'remind' anyone who was waiting for an activation email that they should finish their registration.  If you have any other issues, let us know on IRC.  Thanks!

  • N2F Yverdon v0.2 Released!

It's been well over a year now, and we're happy to announce that we're finally ready to release v0.2 of N2F Yverdon, as well as a brand new site for the N2 Framework.  Feel free to poke around while we get started on building our wiki documentation, and let us know if you want to lend a hand!
